Boy, was I chewing my fingers on this one! I can still hardly believe we hung on to beat the Haka Boys by a single point again!
I think that pussyboy Haka they performed was a problem for the rugby gods!
In truth the continual stupid drop goal attempts by the Springbok back line made this game a lot closer than it should have been and that All Black try should have been disallowed for a knock on and forward passes from the All Blacks were rife in this encounter.
After the Springbok victory in August by an amazing scoreline of 7-35 over the All Blacks, I was a tad weary of this game being a pushover as the All Blacks had played pretty darn well after losing to Les Bleus earlier in this tournament.
The Bokke should never have lost their group game to Ireland but silly mistakes told the tale of the tape there in that frustrating game which was a lot of experimenting that was pretty concerning from my POV.
