I decided to go check Dark Duck's rattling capability down my fave Sherman Road levee today!
This is probably the worst road in California suitable for rattle testing of any motorcycle!
Weather was nice and a good 10,000 pelicans were flying over the Highway 160 delta in waves of formations towards the Sacramento general area for some reason.

There was a ton of Mallards, Ibis and herons too! The ploughed farm patches seemed to be the birds core fascination focus.

A few folks were in small aluminum boats catching fish and the river side looked real swell today as well.

I did not know what to make of these cloud formations, very rare in my flying experience these ones!

You can see my skateboard grip collage I have cut and stuck to my panniers in this picture. This is because my right boot was scuffing them both as I mounted and dismounted.
Also gives amazing grip when I put random things on them - like my cell phone and tire pump etc.

The side stand shoe is also working out rather swell!
It is amazing how much stuff I can get in those two saddlebags!

You can see I placed the windshield on the lower setting in this picture - it is better all round in this position in my humble opinion...

It was very pleasant tootling around between 37-48 Mph rattle free on these roads today.

I have two helmets but my fave is this O'Neal one I got with the KLX 300 I bought from a bloke in Aubern last March.

That Bellini Bike Jacket I bought for the Buell Ulysses has worked out rather well too, not bad for $89!
Right now I am in the ride and enjoy mode and should hit 900 miles sometime this week!
I wish I could ride her in North Wales, that terrain is perfect for Dark Duck!
