The Sunshine coast sans Sunshine
Our 2026 Australian vacation adventure has turned out to be a pretty expensive Noah's ark type Water World experience thanks no doubt to the the current El Nino effects the planet is currently experiencing.
We have been rained on since day one and the soggy WaterWorld experience continues!
Today is Monday and we are on the Gold Coast just outside Brisbane and the view from our hotel window to the outside world reminds me of the daily scene from when I lived on the muddy Island way back when.
It has a very Luton Town kind of depression and flavor to it all.
At least the food and coffee is outstanding!
Later we will attempt to go visit some Quokkas which are little marsupials as she who must be obeyed loves the little furry creatures to bits and this will make her pretty happy, though it looks like a Thursday thing per Muse advice!
